Beauty Of La Fortuna

On a day trip, explore La Fortuna's lush forests and volcanic landscapes. Enjoy a guided walk to attractions like the La Fortuna waterfall, followed by a hot spring soak and beverage.

On a guided walk, you may immerse yourself in the natural beauty of La Fortuna. Follow a trail along the river to a panoramic overlook. After a great lunch in a Maluku Indian village, travel through woodland, lava fields, and farmlands before relaxing with a drink at a natural hot spring resort.

You will be picked up from your hotel and transported to the start of the forest walk—Trek along the easy path that follows the crystal clear La Fortuna River. On the way, take a tractor cart uphill to a panoramic overlook.

Locate the next spot from afar, then begin the return journey down a jungle stairway. You'll then cross a high suspension bridge halfway down. The trail continues down the massive canyon formed by a volcanic mega-eruption.

Visit the breathtaking La Fortuna waterfall. The thick foliage on its 70-meter-high walls, the giant volcanic rocks at its foot, and the water crashing down in its immense pool will astound you. Enjoy its splendour or enjoy a refreshing plunge.

Return to the overlook and descend to the Maluku Indians' small settlement. Rest while listening to an intriguing story about their culture, art, and history while seated in their Palenke (main house).

After a few hours of hard work, it's time to unwind and enjoy a traditional hot lunch. You can explore the butterfly garden and frog pond next to the restaurant until lunch arrives.

After refuelling, take a 15-minute ride to the Arenal volcano park—the trip through the primary forest, where you can see massive trees with massive roots. Aside from birds, the forest is home to monkeys, sloths, and coatis.

Leave the forest and each highest viewpoint surrounding the volcano to take in the most beautiful panoramic views of Lake Arenal, the jungle, the valley, the lava fields, and, most importantly, the Arenal that towers over you.

Finish your journey in the natural hot spring resort. Relax in its calming warm water for roughly an hour and get a volcanic mud facial and a complimentary beverage. Following that, you will be returned to your lodging.

This trip is unsuitable for wheelchair users, and bringing comfortable shoes and swimwear is essential.

You will receive confirmation at the time of booking. To consume alcohol, you must be at least 18 years old. A multilingual tour guide also leads the tour. Please keep in mind that there will be some walking involved. Natural hot spring costs, as well as beverages, are all included and offered. Dinner, on the other hand, isn't.
